Akeeba 3.0 stable can't use my Chinese language file on Joomla 1.6

Akeeba 3.0 stable can't use my Chinese language file on Joomla 1.6

I made a test on Joomla 1.6 (Chinese version). Then I noticed that Akeeba can't pickup my Chinese language file (zh-CN.com_akeeba.ini), no matter I put it to /administrator/language/zh-CN or /administrator/components/com_akeeba/language/zh-CN folder.

I think this may be a bug?

Thanks.

Re: Akeeba 3.0 stable can't use my Chinese language file on Joomla 1.6

This is a bug in the language file. Do note that we officially support only English, Greek and German (the translation files produced by our core team for the languages we can actually understand and test smile ). Chinese is a third party translation. The language format has changed between 1.5 and 1.6, so the translator will have to check this file against Joomla! 1.6.

Re: Akeeba 3.0 stable can't use my Chinese language file on Joomla 1.6

Ok, I checked my Chinese language file and found that the reason is I had inserted one extra line of langauge definition. After deletion of that line, then Akeeba show me correct Chinese interface on Joomla 1.6.

Thanks.

Great! Can you tell us which is the extra line, so that future searches can benefit from your findings? Thanks!
