Overview

JoomlaPack eXtract is a backup archive extraction wizard, supporting ZIP and JPA backup archives created by the JoomlaPack component. With an interface similar to Windows™ own Compressed Folder extraction wizard, it guides you through the extraction of ZIP and JPA files.

It is specially designed to overcome the false alarm of "ZIP file corruption" other unarchivers produce when confronted with ZIP files created by JoomlaPack on specific server setups. It is also the only way to extract JPA archives without using the command line "JPA Utilities".

JoomlaPack eXtract can run natively on leading Windows™ versions (XP and Vista), as well as under WINE on all Operating Systems supported by the WINE project, including - but not limited to - various Linux distributions and MacOSX™ on Intel™-based Mac's.
