Hi

I have installed admin tools for wp free version version 1.0.3.

After purchasing the pro 1.0.3 version I try to install it via upload option of wp-admin/plugins but it seems that doesn't proceed as it finally reports installation failed.
Also I can't delete the free version as the button it is stsuck on Deleting...

Do you think a way of how can I overcome this?

PS: The active theme is Sydney and wp version is 5.2.1

This is a known problem in WordPress when updating from Core to Pro. It has to do with how it works internally.

You should be able to uninstall the plugin and reinstall the Pro version. The problem with that approach is that it loses all your settings and history.

The better way is to download the Pro version, extract it, then upload the files via FTP to your site. This updates the version and preserves your settings.

Go ahead and upload the files via FTP. If the partial uninstall has caused problems we'll have to deal with that, if not, we're golden.

Manually copying the files solved the issue
