Joomla! version: 2.5.16
PHP version: 5.4.4-14+deb7u2
MySQL version: 5.0.32-Debian_7etch12
Host:Linux black-ld-342.synserver.de 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.46-1 x86_64
Admin Tools version: 2.5.8

Description of my issue:
This is a follower of my ticket #17447
I tried the last workaround Nicholas gave me. So I
made a backup copy of my #__admintools_* and #_ak_* database tables using phpMyAdmin
uninstalled and reinstalled Admin Tools 2.5.8 pro
deleted #__admintools_* and #_ak_* database tables using phpMyAdmin and restored the database tables from the first step, again using phpMyAdmin, so my settings are still the same.

But unfortunally I get the same update messages again

Greetings
Steffen

Yes, I know. This seems to happen only with Joomla! 2.5.16. I still haven't found out why. Joomla! reports that there is an update available even though the latest version is installed!
