 Hi.

I tried installing Admin Tools 2.2.10 Pro, but after the install I get a white screen when going to the "Extension Manager" and also when going into "Akeeba Backup".
"Admin Tools" itself also doesn't show up under "components" - so I guess the install didn't work out properly.

Joomla Error Reporting doesn't show anything.
The Problem is not the .htaccess, since I tried renaming the file.
In my Server Error Logs I get this line:
PHP Fatal error: Class FOFController cannot extend from interface JController in /is/htdocs/wp10605983_L5AUSVGEPA/www/grandits/libraries/fof/controller.php on line 23, referer: http://grandits.bitbe.net/administrator/index.php?option=com_joomlaupdate

Unfortunately I didn't backup before the AdminTools install, since I assumed that AkeebaBackup should do a system-restore anyway. But since there are no fiels saved in the backups folder, I assume that the system-restore didn't work either.

Do you know what the problem could be and how I could get my site to work again / remove admin tools or what needs to be removed?

The Frontend and the rest of the Admin-Area work fine...

Thanks!

Sean.

I believe that your issue has the same root cause as the one documented in http://docs.joomla.org/J3.2:Table_xxx_postinstall_cpanels_does_not_exist Please follow the instructions on that page and post back your results. Thank you!

Hi.

I tried the fix, but it didn't help.
In the end i re-uploaded the whole libraries folder and got the extension manager and akeeba backup to work again…. as soon as I installed Admin Tools though, the whole thing "broke" again.

I saw though, that I had been installing an "older" version of Admin-Tools (2.2.10) - now I tried installiong 2.5.10 - and that worked… even though I got the same "could not delete FOF files" errors on install…

Thanks,
Sean.

Before installing anything PLEASE do take a look in our compatibility page or, at the very least, the compatibility badges of our download items. Admin Tools 2.2.10 predates Joomla! 3.1 by a year. Remember, components written today cannot possibly be guaranteed to be compatible with a Joomla! version which has not even been planned yet and will be released in 12-18 months. So, of course Admin Tools 2.2.10 won't work on Joomla! 3.1 per its compatibility statement.
