Hi, just updated Admin Tools and got the message that a geo ip plugin is needed. Downloaded it, then went into the extension manager, and tried to install it. But the page just went blank, and nothing happened. Both back and front end went completely blank, had to do a full site restore.
Don't know if this was the correct way of doing it, but it seemed natural. Just wanted you to know there might be something wrong with the installation script for installing the plugin.

Update: Wanted to update to the latest admin tools, the automatic one didn't work, with these error messages:

"JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
Invalid package type. The update can not proceed."

so i downloaded the file, then used the extension installer to install the update to 2.6.0 from 2.5.8 (since the backup i found was from the beginning of October).

Same problem. Just blank, had to to a kickstart again. And it seems automatic updates of Akeeba products doesn't work. Other ones seem to be working though, updated AcyMailing and another system plugin, through the normal "Updates are available" on the site control panel.

All Download IDs changed with the AkeebaBackup.com site upgrade to Joomla! 3.2.1. You can read more about the issue here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/home/news/1537-new-site-and-changes-in-dlid.html.

OK, thank you, maybe you should send out an email about it where it's very clear that this has to be done, otherwise the site can go down.

Anyway, I did update twice after setting up the new ID, both times the site went down again, completely blank.

Eventually I noticed there were still some GeoIP files on the site, so I removed them, which led to the site working again.
