Not sure if this is connected but I am having a problem logging in with Community Builder Login.

I have the latest version of Joomla and CB and when I register with CB and then try to login it fails. The funny thing is I can login using the normal Joomla Login module.

I have read there have been issues and one way around is change the strong password setting, or edit I Joomla.php file - see http://www.joomlapolis.com/forum/153-professional-member-support/223367-password-reset-problem-joomla-32-and-cb-191?start=12#236611.

The problem is I cannot find these settings in the Joomla - User Plugin or references in the php file - see attached screen print

My question to you is could this be because of the instillation of Admin Tools?

Many thanks
Regards
Dave

Hello Dave,

I think it's very difficult that Admin Tools is interfering with CB login.
However, just try these two quick tests: try to login and then check Admin Tools exceptions log.
If you see a record, if means that it was blocked by AT and we will try to figure out what happened.

Then, to be 100% sure, disable Admin Tools system plugin and try again to login.
If you still can't, it means that the problem is somewhere else.

HI Nicholas,
Nothing showing up in the AT Exception Logs and I renamed the main.php file in the Admin Tools directory and still can't login via CB.

I'm checking with Site Ground to see if somehow they have disable 'Secret Password ' settings in the Joomla - User plugin, because I still can't understand why this setting is not being displayed in the configuration screen.
