We plan to release a new version towards the end of the month. We're working on automated testing to prevent a rollback in the future. So far we've written tests for all WAF features and we're now working on the rest of the features of the component. The upside is that we're now able to do more thorough testing on all compatible Joomla! versions (2.5, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, even 3.4 if it's released in the meantime) on all compatible PHP versions (5.3, 5.3, 5.5, 5.6) and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X). The downside is that writing the tests takes time. Between delaying the release and risking another rollback we decided it's best for everyone to delay the release until we're super confident in our testing.

Thanks for detailed reply
Its great to hear that you are incorporating the feature with thorough testing, would be good for joomla community users who trust your component for securing the site. Appreciate your best of the work.

However - latest Admin tool release, available for download has Broken PHP File Change Scanner - which is a bug.
My pro subscription is due for expiry next week - was awaiting for a version which can supersede that bug - or atleast a patch which can supercede that bug,

Is there any possibility to
> Release a patch for bug - which is known on the component
> Extend my subscription till end of the month so that can download a stable version for it

Thanks

Hello Gagan,

The terms of the subscription are simple:
- While your subscription is active you get access to all available versions, even those which were published before you were a subscriber
- When your subscription expires you get no access to any version whatsoever
- If you renew before your subscription expires you get a 30% discount off the listed price, automatically
- The software is licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 3 (GPLv3)

What you are requesting is a warranty against defects. As stated in the license such a warranty is not provided. Please note that any software has bugs. It's not a matter of programmer's ability or company size. Just ask Apple how they feel about iOS 8.0.1. There are countless examples about bugs slipping in despite best intentions and effort and I could go on forever.

As you may understand, we can't offer you an untested patch (that's the entire point of testing in the first place) or extend your subscription. If we extend your subscription we're essentially invalidating the no warranty clause of our license and we'd have to apply the same exception to everyone else who's ever been a subscriber. This would be a death blow. So, no, sorry, we can't extend your subscription.

If you want to renew your subscription you will receive a 30% discount off the regular retail price as advertised. You will then be able to download the new version when it's ready. This is in line with our Terms of Service and the license to our software.

Hello,

i read in Admin tools 3.3.0 changelog that - 279 automated tests were performed which ensure that Admin Tools features work exactly as documented . I installed Admin tools Pro Version 3.3.0 in Joomla 2.15.14 & its even installed correctly without any issues

I wished to thank you from core of my heart for making wonderful software for safety and security of thousands of sites - who rely on Admin tools including me.

However the changelog states major bugfix in 3.3.1 which is -
[HIGH] Missing files in core package leading to incorrect post-setup page under Joomla 2.5
[LOW] Database repair CLI script is not installed

Do i need to be worried as if some files are missing in my last updated Pro Version 3.3.0 as mentioned in Changelog of 3.3.1

Do note - my subscription has just expired - of which not more than 24 hours has happened and i may not be renewing it soon - but is rather more concerned and upset if the last installed version downloaded from Akeeba Backup site - till time subscription was active has files missing from the developer team due to an error on there part.

Pls advise

Thanks

Oh reread it -It was in core package and not professional version
Hope am safe !!
