Hello, I just updated to your new version of AT 3.3.0 and I logged out and it did not redirect to the homepage like always. I can access the login with the default URL /administrator/ now.

I cleared cache, browser cache and no luck.

Tried all 6 browsers on my computer including SRWare Iron which stores no information so it's not a session/cache thing.

This is the expected behavior on this version. You are no longer redirected to the home page on logging out of the back end.

An "I know the secret code" flag is stored in a session cookie, so for that browser session, you should be able to log into the back end again.

If your IP address is whitelisted, you can log in to the back end without the secret parameter. This has always been the case.

My IP is not whitelisted and I can get to the login screen without the secret url on my phone, 6 browsers on my computer, etc.

I am mostly referring to being able to access the admin login with the default URL and not requiring the secret.

We have had a couple of cases where the Joomla! installer did not fully update the site. Please install Admin Tools twice, back to back, without doing anything in between. This trick normally forces the installer to update all of the files. Do not uninstall Admin Tools. That will cause you to lose all of your settings and history.

I tried that based on the other post with the same problem.

Just did it again, twice in a row. No change.

I know there is an update coming tomorrow, but the only change I know of is an issue on Joomla! 2.5 regarding a security exception on logout. I'll flag this for Nicholas to take a look at in the morning.

This is no problem. I have only updated one site that is not active at the moment.

Nicholas thinks this is an installation error, despite the fact that we have reinstalled. Tomorrow's release will do some sort of self diagnostic to detect and warn about this situation. Let's see what 3.3.1 tells us when you install it.

I just installed 3.3.1 and got not errors or warnings on the install page.

However there is no change on the login screen without the secret url, you can access the admin login with the default Joomla login.

Please re-download your 3.3.1 Admin Tools from the website. There was some sort of cache problem this morning with our download page.

I think it's working again. I did not see the update in changelog regarding whitelist ip not redirecting so I think that must of been it.
