 Hi there,

Been using Admin Tools Password-protect Administrator feature for many years with no trouble.

We recently installed civiCRM and when trying to go to a civiCRM event registration page, the login box for the password-protect administrator comes up, even though the page is set to be public and there are no restrictions on it.

I've disabled password-protect administrator and the event registration page comes up ok, however I really would like password-protect back.

Any ideas much appreciated.

Hello Silvia,

it seems that civiCRM is loading some assets from the backend area, which is a very bad thing.
Since you password protect your backend, you are asked for the password.

Sadly the only solution is to disable backend protection.
