I've read elsewhere that Admin Tools might be a cause of an error installing a template here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/akeeba-backup-3x/20288-jlib-installer-default-style-due-to-admintools.html

Thoughts on what to do? Of course I tried changing main.php to main-disable.php and that didn't work, so any direction would be appreciated. This didn't used to be a problem (when it was Joomla 3.3 and an older version of Admin Tools, possibly about 3.4.

The error I get is:

Warning

JInstaller: :Install: File does not exist /home/sandbox/public_html/dei/tmp/install_5537adaff0e59/favicon.ico

Template Install: Could not copy files from the files source.

Ok I'm a dunce. The templateDetails.xml was calling for favicon.ico which didn't exist...sometimes the solution is too basic for me, haha. Sorry to be a bother! :-)

No problem :)

FYI, the other ticket you read didn't prevent the installation of a template. It merely resulted in the template style having an untranslated language key as its name (instead of the language key's contents). This would only happen with templates that did not provide a template style name. There weren't many of them but it was fixed several months ago anyway.
