Hello

The graph in the backend stopped recording on the 19th of June. I checked the System - Admin Tool plugin, it is enabled. Entered a wrong Super user password on backend login, didn't receive an email about that. But I white listed my IP address.
Also I don't get any notifications lately about wrong passwords in front end and other attacks.

It seems to me that Admin Tools are not running anymore. Where can I check that, besides the checks I have done?

Is there a way I can kick start Admin Tools?

Roger,

As long as your IP is in the white list you will not be able to force an error using that IP. You will have to take it out of the white list temporarily in order to test Admin Tools. You can also use a bad password while logging in from a phone or tablet (not over WiFi, that will use your white listed IP).

Hi Dale

Thanks for your quick answer. I tried it with the smartphone and was able to receive a message that I tried to enter with the wrong password.
Does this mean that everything is running the way I have set it up?

The graph in the backend doesn't show anything today. I guess this is created at midnight or so, correct?

It is possible that nobody is attacking you. That would be a good thing. I fully understand your concern, that is not what we expect from the world we live in.

You have established that the plugin is active and that you are getting error messages from Admin Tools. I am not sure how often the graph is updated, but I would not be concerned over a one day trend. Please continue to monitor the graph and/or the security exceptions log, I don't think it will take too long for the script kiddies of the world to reassure you.
