The Admin Tools package runs just over 2 Mb. The default upload limit for PHP is 2 Mb. Please check with your host to see if they need to increase this limit.

Are you having trouble installing any other extension to this site? That might indicate a problem with the tmp directory setting.

wierd as it takes ages but loads the install screen without loading the component and without an error message of any kind!

To 1024 MB, which is 1 GB. Notice that the change is performed for the whole cloud SSD VPS service. If you have a local php.ini file at the root directory of the domain name with different value for "upload_max_filesize" the change will not affect. Thus, please perform further test and if the issue still occur, update us again via this ticket, so we can assist you further.

I would like to inform you that I have created a local php.ini at:

/home/jkfdhl98/public_html
/home/jkfdhl98/public_html/administrator

Which are the root directory and the admin directory of the application.

I forgot about this setting:

post_max_size = 10M

That goes with the upload_max_filesize.

Are you having trouble with any other extension? If so, that could indicate a problem with the tmp folder.
