Description of my issue:
I know there already exist some threads about blocking google-bots while geo-blocking the USA. And i know that you are not a friend of geo-blocking, Nicholas :-) Our situation is the following: We have many spammers and hackers trying to login with a couple of passwords from all over the world. Our real users come from about 5 countrys. All other country-accesses are bots or spammers. We made many tests with logged IP-adresses of those spammers. They come from south-africa and so on. So in my opinion geo-blocking is a good tool to lock out those spammers. The only problem is, that it also blocks the good bots.

Google itself had a solution for this problem. Is it possible to get this solution into ATPRO?

Otherwise, if you know a good solution to block those spammers, that can afford to create an account even with a recaptcha-tool as security, and spamming our forums, please tell me :)

As I've written countless times, using GeoBlock to block spammers, hacker and any other kind of malicious users is as effective as asking people landing in the airport if they are terrorists before letting them enter the country, i.e. a bad and ineffective idea. My advice: disable GeoBlock, use the other protections offered by Admin Tools, including the automatic IP ban. The technical reasons for why GeoBlock is ineffective as a protection measure against attackers are too long. Please search the forum if you want, I've already written the 3-pages-long essay on the subject once, I'm not going to do it again.
