#27585 Why is WAF blocking my IP

 I have set WAF to auto block repeat offenders, but for some reason all of a sudden it's taken a dislike to my IP & keeps auto blocking me. Why is this happening? I have a secret key & only access via the correct administrator?secrekey url, yet I'm now constantly getting blocked. The Auto IP Blocking Administration say's my IP was blocked for "Admin Query String" but as mentioned, my admin URL is correctly formatted so this should not happen.

I've been all through my settings, but I cannot see anything relevant to cause this. When I look in the Security exceptions log, there's no mention of my IP. I'm lost to understand why I'm getting blocked. I'm able to get back in by renaming the plugin, but 2 hours later my IP is back on the Auto IP Blocking Administration.

I'm happy to give you access if required to my site admin.

Hello,

can you please try to set the option IP Workarounds to Yes inside WAF Configuration page?
I suspect your server is behind a reverse proxy, therefore without that option enabled you get the proxy IP and not visitor real IP address.

I've changed that option to Yes, recommended setting was no (in little red box) I'll try it like that for a few days & see what happens. Thank you.

Admin Tools tries its best to understand if you need IP workarounds, however sometimes it fails.
Let me know if that fixes your issue.
