 Hi all,

I have a weird (minor?) issue. On one of our sites the red 'Unblock my ip' button do not disappear after unblocking my ip.

The story: We had a meeting with 20 people. We were all connected via WiFi to the internet through the same router. So all used same ip-number. Someone tried to login at the frontend of our site, but made several login-failures. Result was ip-ban: blacklisted.

From that moment we were all banned. And I myself could not login to the administrator any more to unblock. So I disabled Admin Tools using FTP, and logged into the administrator. In the ATP screen I found the red 'Unblock my ip' button. I Pushed it. Then (to be sure) checked in 'Auto IP Blocking Administration' if the ip-number was removed. And yes the ip-number was not in the list any more. So far so good.

I logged out, enabled ATP again using FTP. And everything seemed back to normal. I could log-in again with ATP enabled.

But alas since this happened the red 'Unblock my ip' button do not disappear anymore. I know this is maybe a more cosmetic issue but at least it should not happen...

BTW this started under Joomla 3.7.0 and is still there under Joomla 3.7.1.
Is this a false flag anywhere in database which I can reset manually?

Best regards,
Benno Stulemeijer (Klipper)

Clear your Joomla AND your browser's cache.

The DIV containing the button is initially hidden. A small piece of Javascript makes an AJAX request to the Admin Tools component asking it whether your public IP is blocked. If the result is positive the Unblock My IP button is shown. If you are 100% sure that your IP address is not being blocked the only reasonable explanation is that either Joomla's or your browser's cache is returning a cached response to the AJAX query. Since the last time you accessed that page the response was positive you get to see that button again.
