Hi,

I have a Multilanguage site. It works mostly fine with Admin Tools 4.2.0. However, every time I have to access the backend... I have to disable the plugins/system/admintools (renaming the folder). Once I get it, I can re-enable the plugin.

If system/admintools plugin is enabled, it redirects to the front-end home page associated with the current language.

Is there any tip to configure AdminTools in this Multilanguage setup?

Thanks!

Multilingual has nothing to do with it. In fact, the dev site I use to develop the software is multilingual (English and Greek). You have set up an Administrator Secret Word. If you don't provide it you get redirected to the frontend index.php files which, as you know, causes Joomla! to redirect you back to the currently selected language's home page. You just need to use the secret word (e.g. http://www.example.com/administrator/index.php?your_secret_word_here) or remove the secret word altogether.

Hi,

Yes, I have a Secret Word.... but I'm adding it to the Url (like in the other sites).

Just in case, I've removed it. It still redirects to the home.

.... I've reinstalled it and it's working now! .... anyway, a mystery.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
Anibal

When your browser starts acting up, clear its cache. Remember that Chrome, Opera and Safari cache redirections. They won't even hit your server. They will go straight to the redirection they "remember".
