I have made no changes to the site other then the ones mentioned.

I upgraded Joomal to version 3.8.8 due to a security update. Directly after upgrading ONLY JOOMLA the site worked well with no issues.

I then upgraded admin tools to 5.1.1 as well as saving a new .htaccess. I made NO changes to any of the setting, just selected Save .htaccess.

I was then not able to access the front end of the site. but was redirected to sedoparking.com. I have no idea why this is happening. Turning off front end protection fixed this issue and the site is once again working.

I see no reason for this to be happening and see nothing in the configuration that references sedoparking.com.

I have included a copy of the .htaccess file that is causeing the issue for your review

Hello,

there was a bug in version 5.1.1 of Admin Tools.
Please delete current .htaccess, update to version 5.1.2 and then regenerate your .htaccess using the Htaccess Maker.
That will fix your issue.

The 5.1.1 was what showed up in Joomla update section. I noticed after submitting this ticket that 5.1.2 was listed on your web site. No option to upgrade to this newer version was offered in the joomla update section. Bringing up a backup of the site locally prompted me to install the 5.1.1 update. Is this due to a delay to propagate the newer version to your upgrade database?

Installing 5.1.2 did indeed fix the issue and I was able to activate front end protection.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. This resolved the issue and you can close out this ticket
