Hi, I have a registration module installed and when I try to register as a user, it errors out. On inspection, I can see the following 'thing' is 403 Forbidden

site/index.php?option=com_ajax&module=registerlogin&method=getUserRegister&Itemid=+itemId+&format=json

If I turn off back-end and front-end protection in htaccess maker the module works fine.

What configuration or exception can I add to HT maker to allow this to work OK? I don't want to leave the site unprotected.

Thanks, Nick

I don't think that is the part that's triggering the 403 error. I think that is directly calling a php file that is, in turn, throwing the 403.

In order to figure out what to create the exception on we need to look at your server error log to see the full 403 message. That will tell you what file is triggering it and that's the piece we need for the exception.

Thanks, it seems to be working now. I uninstalled Admin Tools and then re-installed which seemed to fix something. Cheers, Nick
