See attachment, From time to time I just can't normally update Akeeba tools (also Akeeba Backup) and get the message to download them manually. Update servers are up-to-date, both applications have the correct Download-ID etc. What is causing this?

According to the error message, Joomla! is unaware of your Download ID.

Go to Components, Akeeba Backup. Make sure there is no message asking you to enter the Download ID. If there is, enter it. In either case click on the Refresh update information button in the right hand column.

Do the same in Components, Admin Tools.

Afterwards go to Extensions, Manage, Update and click on the Clear Cache. When the page reloads click on the Find Updates button. Now you should be able to run the updates.
