Hello, I found a support ticket regarding this but no solution was given. What is the specific setting in the WAF that prevents password resets on the frontend?

I get an error saying "failed to save user access denied" when trying to reset the password.

Thank you

In Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, on the Hardening Options tab, it could be "Disable editing backend users' properties" or "Disable creating / editing backend users from the frontend" or both.

It isn't actually blocking the password reset, it is blocking editing a back end user from the front end.

Hello, it was Disable creating / editing backend users from the frontend.

Turning this off allowed me to get the reset email and do a password reset. This is valuable to know if you have a user based site.
