hello..
I have installed a new Joomla setup, and the first thing I did was to install Akeeba admin tools. I have set it all up and now wanted to put on the Joomla 2 factor authentication. I use he Google Authenticator. I have got the barcode on screen, I enter the valid number and it saves with no error, but does not enable the 2 factor authentication.

Is there something that I could have changed to affect this?

thanks

Kind regards

David

Hello,

please note that the Two Factor Authentication is no longer provided by Admin Tools, but it's part of Joomla core.
If you entered the code, then it should be already enabled. Please logout and then login again, if no secret code is provided, Joomla should block you.

If you still have issues, you should seek support in Joomla forums.
