#31242 Hosting server IP address gets blocked in blacklist

I have just moved the site communityhousingcapital.org from a shared host on hostgator to a new VPS on InMotion hosting.

Since the transfer, the site was blocked from public view twice and both times the offending IP address in the blacklist was the actual server IP address: 173.231.221.2
Once I removed the IP address from the BL the site returned to functioning only to get blocked again a few hours later.
For now I deactivated admin tools and placed the IP address in the white list in the Configuration (but not the actual WL).

In all the years I have been using admin tools, I have never seen this and google has not been helpful.
The only reference to something similar happening was an old post that mentioned a patch was on the way, so I assume that post Is no longer valid.

I am hoping this is something simple I can fix, otherwise I'll make this post private and send you access to the server.

Go to Web Application firewall, Configure WAF, on the first tab, flip the value in the IP Workarounds field. If it's off, turn it on and vice versa. This changes the way the "from" IP is reported to Admin Tools and let's it act on the real "from" address, not from another server in your host's system.

It looks like that did the trick. Thank you so much for your help. The transfer had been stressful for unrelated reasons and this lock out added fuel to the fire. I am really grateful for your prompt help.
