If you remember I make some test in adding types of files for the scan.

php, phps, phtml, php3, inc, html, ico, less, css, js, xml, ini, htaccess, png, jpg, gif, pdf, txt

Seem to work well, I just try on a 72mb database and for the first scan in went up to 75.1mb — Scan take around 8 minutes

Settings :
• Minimum execution time: 1 second
• Maximum execution time: 5 seconds
• Runtime bias: 75%

My question is about some pdf file that doesnˇt register the source code in the report. It make sens as the code making a complete pdf doc is quite large.

I also see that a checksum is taken, is this mean that, if modified, these large pdf will still appear as modified, even if the source code is not register ?

Also,do you have an example of cron for the scan, I’m not sure hoe to proceed?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

it depends on the size of those PDF documents: how large are they?
Admin Tools automatically skips very large files to avoid exhausting the memory and crashing the scan process.

Yes, we do store a checksum of the file, so if it gets changed, it will show up as "Modified" in the report page.

The command for the scan script it's pretty straightforward: simply launch it and you're done, there aren't any special arguments required.

Do you have a setting for how large a document can be?

If you get inside Admin Tools component options you'll find the values for those options with some defaults.
