Hi support team

I'm experiencing problems using template creator ck together with akeeba admin tools.

(Before you complain: I've already read the hints written in tickets with similar problems and tried them to no avail).

The problem is that I can't see my uploaded, installed and activated template in my chrome browser, when I load my website. Only the modules are visible, without any design features.
My guess is, this is caused by a missing entry in AATs WAF. Also I'm getting a warning in the security exeptions log:
http://ibindaadmin.de/?template=corporate2&tckedition=1&from=templatecreatorck.
I've tried to add the template's name in the WAF's exeption field, but also to no avail.
Can you give me a hint what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you very much for your help in advance
kind regards
Armin

Hi Nicholas,

sorry to trouble you. But for the first time I'm having trouble using kickstart.php.

I have uploaded a backup file together with kickstart to one of my webspaces and started it.

But not even the extraction process is starting (progress bar remains at zero).

Obviously this phenomenon is limited to this provider: Domainfactory.

Why? I have successfully extracted and installed the same backup file on two other different locations. Once on a local XAMPP environment (flawlessly) and a second time on a different Webspace: Checkdomain - flawlessly.

So I'm fairly sure the problem is neither the backup file nor kickstart, but it is the Domainfactory webspace. Though I have done the same procedure already successfully a few weeks ago. But now: Extraction failes in any of my webspaces subdirectories.

Do you have a recommendation what I should check or ask DF's support guys in order to get this fixed?

Thanks in advance for any hint

kind regards

Armin

Let's try this. Go to Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF, on the Cloaking tab, set "Allow site templates" to Yes.

Hi Dale,
thank you for your quick reply.
As in so many cases: the problem was right in front of the computer.
I Obviously had done the prober settings in the WAF, but somehow it didn't work.
Now it does, but I actually don't know exactly why.
I've added templatecreatorck to the list of allowed tmpl= keywords and switched Allow site templates to yes.
I didn't add my own template's name to the list, but nevertheless it works now.
Thanks for your help
kind regards
