i removed the date from the search field and i get 

Admin Tools - An unhandled Exception has been detected 1525 Incorrect DATETIME value: '-0001-11-29 23:40:28'

Joomla 3 is not fully compatible with MySQL 8 that you're using in your server. In MySQL 8 the behavior of DATETIME handling has changed and null dates (0000-00-00 00:00:00) are no longer allowed. We can add a workaround but you might still have that problem when clearing the date in core components as well.
