i can still access it.

it would not uninstall. :(

All of the error messages in your first post are about Akeeba Subscriptions, did you uninstall the correct component?

What type of user are you using to uninstall, is it a Super Administrator>

I understand that you are trying to uninstall Akeeba Backup, but all of the error messages are about Akeeba Subscriptions, is it possible that you selected the wrong component to uninstall?

you're right. i am uninstalling the wrong component.

the document mentions to uninstall that component. maybe it was the wrong document.

which document shall i choose to uninstall akeeba backup?

dlb
You should be able to uninstall Akeeba Backup through the Extension Manager, just like you would any other extension. The component, plugins, etc. install as a package and should uninstall the same way. Uninstalling the "Akeeba" component should get everything.

I have a list of files to be deleted in case of a manual uninstall, but there would be some database records that need to be deleted too, I would have to get that list from Nicholas.
