EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
All of the sudden my backups take a very long time (2 hrs+), this has worked considerably faster previously..
It's backing up towards idrivesync.com

I did a Alice analysis, and that gave me this result:

Large files issues
Error
The following files are too big and can cause backup issues:
File: .../..._Diving.avi 67.34 Mb
File: .../gopr0024.mp4 98.06 Mb
File: .../gopr0011.mp4 13.46 Mb
File: .../gopr0032.mp4 66.26 Mb
Please try excluding these files using the Files and Directories Exclusion feature or delete them if you are sure you don't need them on your site.
But the filesize is 100 MB, so why is this a problem?

Looking in the logfile it takes everything between 5 secs and 25 mins to upload a 100 MB file.
Being a 1.5 GB site, I guess 25 mins / 100 MB, then it's fast, but 5 secs / 100 MB, then it's slow

Not sure where the log went the first time...

Hello Kenneth,

"Large files" can cause several issues: you can run out of time or exhaust you resources while trying to compress them, moreover they inflate the overall size of the archive, affecting post-processing operations (bigger files leads to longer upload times).

However, this shouldn't be your case: the upload is just slow, you don't have any issues while the transfer. I think you should contact your host and ask for further details, maybe he is limiting the upload speed.
