Description of my issue:
Hi
Unable to complete backup of site.

Keep getting the 500 error.

Looked though documentation and tried changing min /max execution times, run ALICE, turned off virus software

No luck

Thanks
Malcolm

It looks like it may be a permissions problem. The backup stops when it tries to scan the files in /. That would be the first folder to be scanned.

Under Windows, the group Everyone has to have rights to your site.

Is this a commercial server or a local one?
