EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Just inherited the site back from my client, and updated to newest Akeeba.

I've created two profiles, one that backs up to Amazon s3, and the other that backs up to the server. In both cases the backup hangs up at 72-73%.

Permissions are 775.

OK, that's funny. :-)

You have an old version of JoomlaPack that you're backing up - including the old backup files. I see backups from 2009 and 2010. You're getting stuck on one of the backup archives. You need to exclude those old backup files from your current backup and perhaps the entire administrator-old folder.

Well, I deleted the entire administrator-old folder, and took another backup to the server and it worked.

But I really want to back up to the cloud, so I tried it again, and currently it's hanging up at /home1/acandlei/public_html/backup/administrator/components/com_joomlapack/backup -- but there's no com_joomlapack in that folder. So what's happening?

I'm attaching another log file.

Okay, so now it eventually completed the backup... but it hung at that Joomlapack business for a while.

What do I do now? As far as I can see there's no joomlapack anywhere.

OK, that one led me a merry chase! You have a site level cache, probably from your host. It was trying to find the folder that you deleted because it still existed in the cache, but wasn't on the disk. I'm not 100% sure of that, but it fits most of the facts.
