Hello,
I try to update my akeeba pro but i get this message :

Alerte

JFolder::delete : le chemin n'est pas un répertoire. Chemin : /var/www/vhosts/xxx.fr/httpdocs/components/com_akeeba/views

Copy file failed

I've tried to create a "views" folder but it changed nothing ...

It's the first time i get this kind of message. All the update before were ok (
Download ID ok)

thx for your help
.

Please check the file permissions and ownership of the components folder. The permissions should be 644 and the ownership should be the same as the other folders. If the ownership is different, you need to enable the FTP Layer in Joomla!'s Global Settings page. If the permissions are wrong, you can adjust them via FTP.

Hi,

Thank you for you answer.

permissions of all of my folders are 755
permissions of the files inside component/com_akeeba are 644

I've enabled the FTP layer , but nothing changed...

But, one thing attracted my attention. It seems that I'm already using version 4.2.0 (as indicated below), but I still have the message saying an update. ?!?

Status Summary
Akeeba Backup is ready to backup your site
Akeeba Backup Professional 4.2.0 (2015-04-01).

You can use the black "Reload update information" button on the right side of the Akeeba Backup Control Panel page to update the cached version information. That will make the update notice go away, but I am not sure it will fix everything.

Please run the ALICE log analyzer on one of your log files. It does not matter what log file you use, one of the checks ALICE will make is to check the files in your installation to make sure they are all the right version.

Releaod update information doesn't work at all...

the ALICE log analyzer has only 2 warnings :

Additional database - Wrong access details
Could not detect the used profile, test skipped

Additional database - Joomla database inclusion
Could not detect the used profile, test skipped

I've got 2 differents backup profiles.

Perfect! That is the right answer. One of the checks that ALICE runs is a check to see if all the files in your Akeeba Backup installation match what should be there. Since ALICE did not give us an error, your installation is complete, despite the error message.

The error from ALICE is telling you that you have an additional database defined to be backed up, but the access credentials are not correct. If you really have another database, you need to enter the correct credentials. If you defined the main database, you can delete that extra backup, the main database is included automatically.

I'm sorry, where are you getting the notice that you need to upgrade Akeeba Backup, through the Joomla! Extensions Update or on the Akeeba Backup Control Panel?
