I cant seem to find a definitive answer on this. I am getting this Notice after every backup.

"You are using the deprecated 'Upload to Amazon S3 (legacy API)' post-processing engine which will be REMOVED in the next version."

Does this mean I need to do something? Do i need to use another service instead of Amazon S3 to store my backups? Whats up?

Thanks for any help.

Amazon updated the API used to log in and access the S3 service. The S3(legacy) method uses the old API. Amazon's newer data centers can't be accessed using that API and we expect Amazon to retire it some time in the future.

If you look at the post processing setup in Configuraiton, you will see that there are two "Upload to Amazon S3" settings. You just need to switch to the other one. That uses the new API and works much better for some functions. There is really no down side to making this change.
