Description of my issue:

Okay, we found a problem with the Akeeba Backup Professional 4.3.1

On ALL sites that we have updated to 4.3.1, our CRON job does NOT work. We run daily backups and they stopped on the day we installed the Akeeba Backup 4.3.1

This needs to be fixed or a solution needs to be provided ASAP (please). Please let us know as soon as you have a solution. We love Akeeba Backup!!

Note that Akeeba Backup version 4.3.0 and higher require PHP version 5.4 or higher. When you set up your CRON job, you are calling a specific PHP executable, not necessarily the same version as your website runs under. You can check the backup log for an old backup or for a site that has not been upgraded to see what version of PHP-CLI you are calling. The PHP version is shown in the top section before the backup process starts.

That said, the only previous ticket I've seen on this topic wasn't solved by changing the PHP version in the CRON command. He had to recreate the CRON job to get it to run. That makes absolutely no sense, but it worked for him.
