EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
I try to install the beta version but I got a message "Can't find any installation package".
I have upload_max_filesize set to 10M and also the post_max_size to 10M.

Best regards,
Peter Sundmark

PS. Recognized now that I have set the version wrong in the title, should be 4.4.2.b1.

Hm, I have actually done the same on our own site this morning (also hosted on SiteGround) and everything worked. Just to make sure, what you should do to install this beta version is:
  1. Go to our download page and download the ZIP package
  2. Log in to your site
  3. Go to Extensions, Manage, Install and upload the ZIP package

Why do that? Since this is a beta release, the default Joomla! settings will prevent automatic updates through Extensions, Manage. If you want to enable installation of beta releases please go to Extensions, Manage and click on Options. Set the Minimum Stability to Beta and click on Save & Close. Click on Update, Clear Cache and when it finishes click on Find Updates. Now 4.4.2.b1 should be directly installable as an update.

FYI the minimum stability feature in the Joomla! extensions updater was added in Joomla! 3.4 and was submitted by yours truly :)

Hi again,
This is what I have done and I have also checked the file size set up in my php.ini file and they are set to 10MB. Just to check, I got a file size for the zip-file of 2742 kB when I have downloaded it. I want to be sure the download went well.

Best regards,
Peter Sundmark

Can you install any other extension? A reason for getting this error message is when the upload to your server fails or, under certain conditions, when the temporary directory is not writeable.

Yes, I uploaded the new version for sh404SEF and it went well. Strange.

Hi again,
You can close this issue. It's working on my other sites. Have to investigate why it doesn't work for just this site and this file. It's bigger than the others that's the only which differs. However, I have set the php.ini file to accept 10 MB upload and post size.
Best regards,
Peter Sundmark

Make sure that you have enough free space on your account and that your Temp-directory is configured correctly. Do keep in mind that Akeeba Backup is bigger than sh404SEF; if you're on the edge of having enough space it might make a big difference.
