Description of my issue:

hi.. i want to ask if its possible to split date format from backup file name.. it will be nice for example if i can use format yyyy-mm-dd

thanks

dlb
Instead of using the [DATE] variable in the file name, you can use [YEAR], [MONTH] and [DAY] and add the formatting in between. As long as the resulting string is a legal file name for your operating system, you should be able to get just about any format you want.

You can see more details here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-documentation/configuration.html#basic-configuration.
