Go to Components, Akeeba Backup. Make sure the backup profile that threw the error is active. Click on the Files and Directories Exclusion button. On the left hand column find the webstats directory. There are three icons to its left. The leftmost icon looks like a ban sign (a line crossing a circle at an angle). It has a white background. Click on it. It starts doing something and then has a yellow background. That's good: yellow background means that you are excluding this directory from the backup. Now take a new backup.
