EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Error if I try to post process to DropBox. I tried suggestions in Alice and in trouble tickets:
Minimum execution time: 1
Maximum: 10
I set Archive engine part size to 49.99.

Alice says:
Timeout while backing up

Error:
There is already an issue with the backup engine saving its state. Please fix it before continuing.

Please try setting min execution time to 1, max execution time to 10 seconds (or if the PHP timeout is less than 10 seconds, use 75% of the PHP timeout), runtime bias 75%

As I posted in the ticket above, Per Alice, I already tried that.

Since you asked so nice. :-)

You should know that when I tried to download the log from within Akeeba, I got a page not found error. I retrieved the files through regular FTP.

Here is a zip file. Let's hope this works.

It looks like the authorization is working because it tries to upload the first chunk. It retries after the upload fails but it never gets that first chunk to upload. Under Configuration, on the Dropbox setup, click the Configure button on that line and reduce the chunk size from 20 to 10. That will reduce the chance of a timeout error.

Which Dropbox are you using, v1 or v2? I'm pretty sure it is v2, but I can't tell for sure from the log.

I reduced the chunk size to 10 and fixed the problem. I am using DropBox V1. I didn't even notice V2 until you asked. Is that a problem?

dlb
My recollection is that v2 is better at chunking. They will eventually phase out v1 but for now, if it ain't broke, you don't have to fix it any more.
