Hello

When i restore my site, my site gets stuck on finalizing restoration updating .htaccess file.( picture attached )

The rest of my my site works just fine when i close the screen like it did not freeze and hit the clean up button

when i exclude these tables

#__users

#__user_usergroup_map

#__user_profiles

#__user_notes

and do the restoration it still gets stuck "frozen" on finalizing restoration updating .htaccess file
when i cancel out of that hit the clean up button and try to log on to my site i get this error " An error has occurred 0 must match character set" ( picture attached )

And im locked out of my site until i do a restore that does not have the excluded tables

Best regards

Hello Sean,

please update to version 5.1.0.b1, there was a bug in version 5.0.4 that caused the issue you are reporting.
Take a new backup and everything will work as expected.
For whatever reason you can't (ie site is no longer available), I can give you the manual steps required, however the easier solution is to install the new version.
