Description of my issue:

Very simple - almost silly question:

If you haven't touched the Configuration yet, the default backup output directory is under your web site's root:
Akeeba Backup for Joomla!: administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup

Is that still true for the newest version of AkeebaBackupPro (5.x) ??? It seem I can't find any recent site-xxx-*.jpa files and hope they are just hiding. ;-)

Thanks

dlb
That is still the default Output directory. It is easy to change that directory in the backup Configuration screen, you can have different Output folders by profile. You can also change the file name. If you have successful backups on the Manage Backups screen, they are in there somewhere.

Thanks for your quick reply....

Hoped in vain ... it apparently means - in some cases: no recent backups ...
