Description of my issue:

Hi Nicholas,
Unfortunately an old bug we discussed in the past en you have solved then, has returned. Exact same behaviour as described in my ticket: #12575 – Notification icon deactivated
The notification icon on the control panel gets automatic deactivated when someone with lower rights log in to the administrator.
But when Super User log in the icon is gone. Or better, is not activated any more. Only manually activating in the plugins section solves temporary. When one of our co-authors log-in again icon disappear again... and so on.
Please fix again.

Best regards,
Benno Stulemeijer (Klipper)

Hello Benno,

Thank you for the heads up. The actual problem is that the plugin disables itself immediately, no matter who is currently logged in.

Please try the latest dev release. It should solve the issue you're facing. Thank you in advance for your feedback!
