EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Hi
I need to set up regular database backups - every 30 minutes.
I was using Lazy DB backup which emailed the zip file to me.

I have an account with webcron.org, have fully read the documentation, and do not for the life of me understand it.

I would prefer to continue using Laxy DB backup -it is simple and easy to use, but has stopped working.
I also have Akeeba admin tools, and wondered if there is some setting in either backup or admin tools that is preventing Lazy DBbackup from working.
I also cannot make changes to the Lazy DB backup - I just receive http500 error

Hello,

please take a look at the documentation, where you can find the steps to trigger frontend backup. For the correct URL to use, take a look at the Scheduling Information page inside your site.

For your information, triggering so many backups after few minutes will probably cause issues, you really should take a backup every 6-12 hours (at maximum).

Hi
Sorry if I was not clear, I don't understand the documentation.
Are there any settings in Akeeba Backup or Admin Tools that would prevent Lazy DB backup from working properly.

Akeeba Backup can not interfere with the Lazy DB extension.
Regarding Admin Tools, try to disable the System - Admin Tools plugin and replace the current .htaccess with Joomla default one. In this way Admin Tools is completely disabled. If you still get any error, it means that is not triggered by Admin Tools.

Hi
It is not the Akeeba lasy backup, it is an extension called LazyDbBackup -PDO
I followed your instructions and the probem remains, so it is not an Akeeba issue - thank you
