Hi guys,

I'm having issues uploading my backups to Amazon S3.

As you can see in the two attached screenshots I receive an error but no error or warning in ALICE when troubleshooting the log file. Can I somehow fix this issue?

I have unchecked "Disable multipart uploads", which was your suggestion to solve this problem when it occurred for me the last time.

Regards,
Kasper

Hello,

your attachments didn't come trough.
Can you please try again?
If they are too big, I'd suggest to upload them somewhere (Dropbox, Google Drive) and paste there the link to them.
Please attach your log file, too.

Looking at your log file, you are trying to upload more than 1Gb of data in one shot.
I can see from the error returned Amazon dropped the connection, I suspect it could be related with the size of the file.
Files so large usually create several issues, please go inside the Configuration page, under the Archiver settings and set a part size of 100Mb and try again.

Hi,

I just changed "Part size for split archives" under "Archive engine" to 100MB and the problem is the same.

Is there something else I can try?

Sadly there's very little we can do: Amazon is dropping the connection without saying way.
Can you please double check that the option Disable multipart uploads is checked and the option Use SSL is unchecked?

Thanks, Davide! It works when disabling multipart uploads.
