HI,

I normal download my backups using FileZilla but there is an option in Manage Backups to download from there.

I get this message when I select the Downlaod button: -

Downloading through your browser may corrupt the files

We recommend closing this dialog and using FTP in Binary transfer mode or SFTP to download your backup archives.

My question is: is it OK to use the Download Button from Manage Backups and get a successful backup file? It is quicker to do it this way...

Regards

Roy

You can try. After downloading through the browser please do make sure that the size of the backup matches and that you can extract it. Depending on the server setup, browser and operating system you may not be able some of the larger backup archives. Usually archive part files lower than 50Mb don't have a problem. But please DO check the integrity of the files you download through the browser as there are no guarantees which size will work and which won't.
