EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue: I upgraded to Backup v5.3.4 on GoDaddy server. A full backup shows the database being dumped and I can see the SQL files on the server. Unfortunately, Akeeba does not backup the files associated with the site.

Can you please zip and attach the backup log from the failed backup? The ALICE log doesn't tell the whole story.

Resend after error.

That is one very interesting log. Are you starting this backup from the back end or through a CRON job?

I'm thinking that your upgrade to 5.3.4 went wrong. Please install Akeeba Backup twice, back to back, without doing anything else in between. This trick usually works around a glitch in the Joomla! installer code where it can fail to upload some files during an installation or update. Do not uninstall. That will cause you to lose your settings and possibly your stored backup archives.
