Just FYI (if you are aware, please disregard),

Akeeba Backup threw a 500 error running on PHP7.2.
Runs fine on 7.0

[10-Oct-2017 15:39:22 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot use Akeeba\Engine\Base\Object as Object because 'Object' is a special class name in /home/devsouthark/public_html/administrator/components/com_akeeba/BackupEngine/Platform/Base.php on line 17

The Akeeba products are not quite ready for PHP 7.2 yet, but neither is Joomla!, so that is part of the holdup. All products will work just fine on 7.1.
