Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

This used to work correctly - the only changes I recall that I've made to the website between when it worked and when it started failing is changing the template. Now it fails quickly in what appears to be the database section. I've compared the failing logs to the last successful log. I've re-run the wizard for setup - I've made the changes suggested by analyzer (shown below) - but it still fails, and the analyzer still shows the same suggestions.

------ BEGIN OF ALICE RAW OUTPUT -----
Timeout while backing up
There is already an issue with the backup engine saving its state. Please fix it before continuing.

Post-processing engine and archive part size
A post-processing engine is found, but no part size is set; this could lead to timeout issues

It looks like there are files missing from your Akeeba Backup installation. I suspect that the file administrator/components/com_akeeba/BackupEngine/Dump/Native/Mysql.php is missing, renamed or corrupt. That would cause a backup failure. Please try installing the latest versions of Akeeba Backup and Admin Tools twice in a row, without uninstalling them before or in between. Then retry taking a backup.

mysql.php did exist ... I saved it off to the side - and reinstalled as exactly as you suggested. That file is identical to what was reinstalled. The good news - this module now works again properly and I successfully performed a full backup. (i didnt save off any other files so I cant report back on what the actual cause was). Thanks!
