Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I realize you do not support Akeeba Subscriptions, but for those people like me still using that component that may search this forum, the new FOF30 library file included with Akeeba Backup 5.6 will cause Akeeba Subscriptions to stop working. My previous version of that file before upgrading was 3.1.0 and Akeeba Subscriptions works fine with that version.

Hello,

can you please be more specific?
We're currently using Akeeba Backup and Akeeba Subscriptions on our site and everything seems working fine.
What's the issue you are having?

Sure, the issue came up when I updated to version 5.6:

When a member went to renew their subscription in Akeeba Subscriptions they would submit the form with their information that normally would direct them to PayPal. However, the user was never able to get past this page, the page would display an error message that one or more of the fields was left empty and that it was highlighted in red. But, no fields were highlighted, and no fields were empty. So, there was no way to get past the renewal page.

I uninstalled Akeeba Backup 5.6 and still had the problem. So, then I noticed the FOF30 library file had been updated when I upgraded to AB 5.6. So, I uninstalled the FOF30 library and then installed Akeeba Backup 5.4. The Akeeba Subscriptions renewal is now working again.

Just let me know if you need more information. Thanks

I just ran some tests and everything is working fine in our local installation and on our site.
I'm sorry but we can't replicate the issue.

Thanks for trying. I am using Akeeba subscriptions 5.0.1

The only other info I can think of is that when I looked at the code of the renewal page when I was having the problem I saw the "Business Activity field" had "error" in the tag because it was empty. This field is hidden because I do not use it.

Now that I'm back running the older version of Akeeba Backup, and the renewal page is working, those hidden fields do not have that error for being empty (they are hidden).

That version is very old: it was released on November 2015.
A lot of things changed, you should update to the latest available version.

Thanks, I didn't realize there was a new version.
