Hello,

I updated Akeeba backup for Joomla to version 6.0.0 and now all boxes on control panel are spread over the full width of browser window and, moreover, they are very tall. Is it some problem with CSS? I tried to reload but no luck. Please, what should I do to make it look normal (all reasonably sized boxes more or less on one or two pages like it was before update)? Now the screen is very awkward...

Thank you in advance
Radek

The old css files being cached is a frequent problem after updates. Please clear your browser cache and try again.

Hello Dale,

thank you for response (I did not expect someone to answer me at the weekend).

I tried it (and Firefox tells me my cache is 0 bytes before I open the site and administration again) but result is the same as the one in original screenshot.

I tried it in Seamonkey a moment ago with the same result. I suspect I've done something wrong (or did not do something) before update?

With best regards
Radek

Radek,

I can tell you that I'm not having any trouble with the new icons in Backup, I'm using Firefox as well. It is possible we have a bad upgrade and some files are missing. Please download Akeeba Backup from our Downloads page and install it twice, back to back, without doing anything else in between. Do not uninstall, that will cause you to lose all your settings and possibly your stored backup archives. This install twice trick usually works around a bug in the Joomla! installer where it forgets to copy all of the files in an install or upgrade.

We don't officially have support hours over the weekend, but it makes Monday easier...
