Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I got a warning of

Cannot get number of rows of #__jbusinessdirectory_company_category.backup. MySQL error 0: SQL=SELECT COUNT(*) FROM `vr8vq_jbusinessdirectory_company_category`.`backup`

The file in question was a file I backed up via PHPadmin. The file is not critical. It would be nice to have it backed up but it isn't mandatory

Is the rest of the backup OK in spite of this message?
Is this file backed up or skipped?

thanks

The table (not file; databases don't have "files") is skipped. The problem is that you are using a dot in its name. Dots have special meaning in a database. Joomla's database handler, which is used by Akeeba Backup, is aware of their special meaning and treats them in a special way, making it impossible to address that table. If you want this table to be backed up please change its name, replacing the dot with an underscore.
