Please look at the bottom of this page (under Support Policy Summary) for our support policy summary, containing important information regarding our working hours and our support policy. Thank you!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
I have an application on a separate domain, on a different server than where I have my Joomla site. Can I use the Akeeba version I have in Joomla to also take a backup of this?

Thanks

No, because it's on a different server. If it was on the same server it would be possible.

You can always install Akeeba Solo (even the free Core edition) on that server to take backups of that application.

OK, thank you Nicholas. I will of course subscribe to Pro, knowing from over many years the high quality you have.

Thanks, Rajan
